I was raised in San Diego, California. After high school I attended Boston University and received my Bachelor of Arts in Art History. I then received my Masters from The California School of Professional Psychology. I began my work as a therapist by providing counseling services in a domestic violence shelter and a High School. Recently, I received my PsyD in Marriage and Family Therapy and moved to Brooklyn, NY to open a private practice. Lastly, I have recently begun teaching as an adjunct professor at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development in the Department of Applied Psychology. When I'm not working, I like to ride my bike and cook recipes I've never tried before (soups are my favorite).
